Responsible Gambling

Gambling is meant to be an entertaining activity. At pk92r, we take the safety of our players seriously — which is why responsible gambling tools, age verification and genuine support resources are built into the core of the platform, not buried in a sub-menu.

Gambling as Entertainment — Not a Livelihood

At pk92r, responsible gambling is not a legal formality. It's a genuine operating principle that shapes how the platform is built and how it behaves. Whether you're following Pakistan cricket through the PSL season, watching an ICC World Cup match, or playing live casino, the expectation is the same: gambling should be enjoyable, voluntary and affordable.

The moment gambling stops being entertaining — when sessions stretch beyond planned time, when deposits exceed your budget, or when the thought of betting starts affecting your daily life in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or wherever you are in Pakistan — it has moved from recreation into something that needs attention.

pk92r provides practical tools to help you stay in control. These are built directly into your account and are available at any time. You do not need to ask permission to use them — they are your tools, and they are designed to work effectively.

Financial Risk Notice: Gambling involves real financial risk. There is no guaranteed winning strategy. Only bet money you can genuinely afford to lose — never use funds allocated to rent, food, bills, or family expenses. If you are in PKR debt or financial difficulty, please do not use gambling as a way to recover losses.

Adults Only — Strictly Enforced

pk92r is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years old — or the higher minimum required by the applicable operator or license jurisdiction — to register an account, place any bets or access any real-money services. Age verification is mandatory at registration and may be required again at any point. Underage gambling is a serious harm and we will not enable it under any circumstances.

Your Control Tools

All of the following tools are available directly within your pk92r account settings. You do not need to contact support to activate any of them — set them yourself, at any time.

💳

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum PKR amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly or monthly period. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Increases to deposit limits require a mandatory cooling-off period before taking effect.

📉

Loss Limits

Define the maximum amount (in PKR) you are willing to lose in a given day, week or month. When you reach your loss limit, betting access is automatically paused until the next period. This limit cannot be increased with immediate effect.

⏱️

Session Time Reminders

Set a reminder that alerts you after a defined session duration — for example, after 30 or 60 minutes of continuous betting activity. This is a prompt to take a break, check your spending and decide whether to continue or step away.

❄️

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break from betting by activating a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During this period, you cannot place bets or make deposits. The period cannot be reversed once active — it is designed to give your decision real weight.

🚫

Self-Exclusion

Request to be fully excluded from the pk92r platform for a minimum of 6 months or permanently. Self-exclusion is activated promptly and cannot be reversed during the minimum exclusion period. Pending real-money balances will be returned after the exclusion is processed.

📊

Account Activity Review

Access your full betting history, deposit and withdrawal records, session durations and loss summaries at any time through your account dashboard. Reviewing your activity regularly is a healthy practice that keeps your gambling decisions informed and grounded.

How to Activate Your Limits: Log in to your pk92r account, go to Account Settings, then select Responsible Gambling or Player Protection. All tools listed above are available from that menu. Changes that reduce limits take effect immediately. Changes that increase limits are subject to a mandatory review delay to prevent impulsive decisions during a session.

Setting Up Your Limits

Setting responsible gambling limits is straightforward. You don't need to contact customer support — the entire process is self-serve from within your account. Here's how:

  • 1

Log in to your pk92r account. Make sure you are using a private or secure connection, especially if accessing from a shared device in Lahore, Karachi or anywhere else.

  • 2

Go to Account Settings. Find the Responsible Gambling or Player Protection section within your account dashboard.

  • 3

Select the tool you want to set. Choose from deposit limits, loss limits, session time reminders, cooling-off or self-exclusion.

  • 4

Enter your preferred limit in PKR (for financial limits). Set a realistic amount based on what you can genuinely afford as entertainment spending — not an aspirational figure.

  • 5

Confirm and save. Restrictive limits take effect immediately. Limit increases require a mandatory delay. You will receive a confirmation notification via email.

  • 6

Review your limits regularly. As your financial situation changes, revisit your settings. If you find yourself wanting to raise limits frequently, that is a signal worth paying attention to.

Gambling on a Budget

Before you set a deposit or loss limit, it helps to have a realistic sense of what "entertainment spending" means for your personal finances. Below is a general framework — your own situation will differ, but the principle is universal: gambling money should come from discretionary income only.

Example Monthly Budget Allocation (PKR 50,000 income)

Essential expenses (rent, bills, food)
60%
Savings and emergency fund
20%
Discretionary leisure (dining, entertainment)
15%
Maximum gambling allowance (if any)
5%

Never Use These Funds to Gamble: Rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, grocery money, children's education or school fees, loan repayments, savings, or any money that belongs to someone else. No PSL match, ICC final or casino session is worth compromising your family's financial security.

Signs That Gambling May Be a Problem

Problem gambling does not always look dramatic. It often builds gradually. The following are recognised warning signs that suggest gambling may have moved beyond healthy entertainment. If you recognise several of these in yourself, it is worth taking a step back.

  • Spending more money or time gambling than you originally planned — sessions that were meant to last 30 minutes stretch into hours.
  • Chasing losses — placing larger bets to try to win back money you've already lost, rather than accepting the loss and stopping.
  • Gambling with money meant for rent, bills, food or family expenses — including funds received via Easypaisa or JazzCash for household purposes.
  • Feeling irritable, restless or anxious when you are not gambling or when you try to cut down.
  • Hiding the amount of time or money you spend gambling from family members or close friends.
  • Borrowing money or selling personal possessions to fund gambling activity.
  • Missing work, skipping important family events or neglecting responsibilities because of gambling.
  • Feeling that you need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to experience the same level of excitement.

Signs of Healthy Gambling

The contrast is equally useful to understand. Healthy gambling looks like this — if your current habits match this description, you're on solid ground. If they don't, the tools above are there to help you get back to it.

  • You set a PKR budget before you start playing and you stop when it's gone — win or lose.
  • You think of gambling as entertainment spending, not as a potential income source or financial strategy.
  • You can walk away from a session comfortably and go about your day without thinking about it.
  • You don't gamble when you're upset, stressed, depressed or trying to escape problems.
  • You're honest with your family or household about how much time and money you spend on gambling.
  • You use responsible gambling tools proactively — not only when things have already gone wrong.
  • Gambling is one leisure activity among several in your life — not the main one, and not a daily habit.
  • Losing money on a bet doesn't trigger the urge to immediately place a bigger bet to make it back.

Quick Self-Assessment

Ask yourself these questions honestly. This is not a clinical assessment — it's a personal reflection exercise. If you answer "yes" to several of them, please consider using the self-exclusion or cooling-off tools, or seeking support.

Personal Gambling Self-Check

Q1 Have you ever spent more time or money gambling than you planned in a single session?
Q2 Have you ever tried to win back money you lost by placing more bets (chasing losses)?
Q3 Have you ever felt anxious, irritable or uncomfortable when you tried to stop gambling or were unable to bet?
Q4 Have you ever gambled with money intended for household expenses, family needs or bill payments?
Q5 Have you ever concealed from a family member or friend how much time or money you have spent gambling?
Q6 Has gambling ever caused you to miss work, family time or other responsibilities?
Q7 Have you ever borrowed money or sold anything to fund gambling?
Q8 Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently during non-gambling activities?

Interpreting your answers: If you answered "yes" to 1–2 questions, consider setting deposit or time limits as a precaution. If you answered "yes" to 3 or more questions, we strongly recommend using the cooling-off or self-exclusion tools and considering speaking with a support professional. This quiz is for personal reflection only and is not a clinical diagnosis tool.

Support Resources

If gambling is negatively affecting your life or the life of someone you care about, support is available. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

pk92r Support Team

Contact our support team directly to request account restrictions, activate self-exclusion, discuss your situation or ask for guidance on responsible gambling tools. Support is available in English and Urdu upon request, during Pakistan Standard Time (PKT UTC+5) hours. Reach us at [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link).

Speak to Someone You Trust

Sometimes the most effective first step is talking honestly with a family member, close friend or trusted community figure about what you're experiencing. Problem gambling tends to worsen in isolation. Bringing it into the open — even just to one person in your household in Karachi, Lahore or Rawalpindi — is often the most important step.

Mental Health Support

Problem gambling is a recognised behavioural health condition. Mental health professionals — including psychiatrists, psychologists and counsellors — can provide evidence-based support. In Pakistan, qualified mental health services are available in major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. Your general physician can provide a referral if needed.

Immediate Account Restrictions

If you feel you need to stop gambling immediately, do not wait. Log in to your pk92r account and activate self-exclusion or a cooling-off period right now. This takes effect promptly. You can also email [email protected] to request immediate account suspension if you are unable to access your settings. We will act quickly.

Responsible Gambling Education

Recognised responsible gambling organisations internationally — such as those operating within the license jurisdiction of the operator — publish resources, self-assessment tools and guidance for both players and their families. pk92r encourages users to seek out qualified, accredited resources relevant to their situation and jurisdiction.

Support for Family Members

Gambling problems affect families, not just individuals. If you are concerned about a family member's gambling — a spouse, sibling, parent or child — support resources exist for families too. Reaching out to a mental health professional or community support organisation is a valid and constructive step for anyone affected by someone else's problem gambling.

Important Note on Support Resources: pk92r encourages all users who need help to seek qualified professional support. References to support resources on this page are general guidance only. pk92r does not provide clinical gambling addiction treatment and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. Please seek accredited, qualified support from professionals in your area.
